Natalie came to visit over a lovely fourth of July weekend. We enjoyed the weather, took walks, ate fresh food, played with Hunter, and talked. I loved the first visitor in a coming string of visitors leading up to my return to work on July 22, 2014.
We celebrated the holiday at Brad's house. Hunter loves when I squish his face with my kisses. Not.
I adore the photo below. Hunter woke up to Jared, Natalie, Brad, Hayden, William, and me all smiling at him. He was taken aback at first and then broke out a big smile.
I feel like a winner today. Hunter slept from 7:30pm-7am in his crib (waking only to eat and be changed in the night) and is now back in his crib for his second nap of the day. Jared and I have cleaned the screened in porch, weeded, trimmed hedges, raked up fallen leaves, done laundry/dishes, and have dinner in the oven and the makings for homemade ice cream in the fridge as Warren and company are coming over for dinner. I will miss Mondays like this. The day of the week doesn't even matter to me on maternity leave!
