So much

There has been so much going on, so many visitors, so many fun activities, so many snuggles with Hunter, so many mixed emotions as the days of maternity leave literally tick away out from under me. Jared and I are living up our last days together at home with Hunter. It has been a special time.

The activities started when Superman flew in a for a visit. It's amazing to me to look at this photo. Three months ago I brought home a baby who weighed 5lb 9 oz at birth and who is now holding up his head and smiling at Daddy from the sky.

The activities continued when Hunter got to meet my Uncle David and Aunt Kathi. Hunter chilled with Uncle David while I ate cake batter ice cream with about 10 different mix-ins.

The party continued with a day at the lake with the family on a sunny Saturday. We celebrated several birthdays, ate a delicious meal, played on the water, and dipped Superman's toes in the pool.

I then cheered on the team doctor for the Venom (indoor football team) at the playoff game on Saturday night. Look at these siblings finally getting along after all those long years.

Hunter then made eyes at his cousin, Mike, while we watched the World Cup final game. I have a sweet little video of Hunter smiling at Mike and then crying when Mike changes his attention from Hunter to the television.

Now Amy is in town from Detroit. Hunter has a good life as evidenced by his time chilling out in the vibrating chair while checking out his new book from Amy while the being watched over by the puppy dog.

The days are full and blessed.
