I love decorating Easter eggs.
I discovered something very important this year that I'm sure everyone else has known forever. Add an extra tablespoon of white vinegar to the egg coloring solution and the eggs come out so much brighter in color! Skip the marbling kit and the tie-dye kit. They don't work well at all. Just stick with colors and stickers and messes and chaos.
The Easter egg hunt is tomorrow. In the snow at the muddy farm. I cannot wait for spring, much less summer. Give me pools and lakes and shorts and tank tops. I've feel as though I've been wearing sweaters for years and if I see one more middle age woman walking around in hooker boots I'm going to puke. It's time for the Downs family olympics and it's time for slip-n-slides.
