Marriage is about a lot of things including growth, compromise, and new experiences. I give you exhibit A:
This is me in full camo attire sitting on the ground with a gun. It is a bit of a misleading photo because I wasn't holding the gun at any other point except for the photo shoot. Jared had the gun and the turkey call. I had my daydreamy thoughts combined with searching the internet on my phone when I got bored. It was nice to sit out in nature and watch the earth worms wiggle by and the birds hop around in the leaves. However, it wasn't nice enough that I ventured out with Jared at 4:45am or this afternoon in the chilly drizzling rain.
Jared and I are house and dog sitting for Warren and Jackie this week. Unfortunately for me, the dogs were ready to party this morning when the alarm went off. I, on the other hand, was not and lured them back to sleep by allowing both of them on the bed with me.
My spot was somewhere in that free corner near the blue table. I might have ended up sleeping on the blue table by this morning come to think of it. I didn't know that dogs could spread out quite so much. Scout was trying to spoon me and Hershey had his head across my legs. We were a cozy lot and slept until 7:45am.
I simply cannot believe that the weekend is already over. It came and went in a heartbeat. I could use another day, another week.
