1967

It's March 12, 2013 and today is Mom and Dad's anniversary. They got married in 1967. 

I printed and framed a copy of the photo below for Mom. I love this picture of Dad with his hair curling out at the ends. 

I found a book on neonatal resuscitation on Dad's bookshelf. He had just studied it for continuing education prior to his death and received his certificate of completion in April 2012. Dad was very good at keeping itty bitty babies alive and breathing on the way to the hospital and used to tell stories about riding in the ambulance when he was younger. He would have the child stabilized, but when given the choice, always wanted the drivers to use the lights and sirens anyway. He did enjoy a bit of excitement in his life. I would have loved to talk NICU with him. 

This is the family that Mom and Dad started. Look how we've grown! Cheers!
