The shower mothers (that includes me!).
Grandma, Karen, and Debbie drove in from Birmingham to the shower. I felt so blessed that they would make the trek to be supportive of Jared, Hunter, and me.
Alexis and Rachel were my go-to girls during the gift opening. They told me which present to open next. If I could've had the shower any way I wanted it, I would've divided the gifts up into the three piles and let us all just go to town with wrappers tearing and tissue flying!
There are about 100 photos of me doing this exact pose with a cute item. Every baby item is adorable deserving of a big smile and an "ahhhhhh" from the audience.
The following is a gift from my brother to his "baby sister." The onsie says "my uncle rocks" which Jared and I have joked about taking Hunter home from the hospital in. Curious George was Brad's favorite so it's just wonderful to have Hunter's own curious George. We now have a variety of stuffed animals for Hunter and I've often wondered which one he will choose as the favorite.
This is Sharron, my officemate. Thank you, Jesus, for an office pairing so blessed and safe. In a Vanderbilt world of 16, 000 people, I got very lucky.
Jared and I leave on Friday to head to Birmingham for shower #2. I've gotten all of the thank you notes written from #1 and Hunter's room is an absolute mess of fun baby items.
