Jared and I are winners this week. We bought minimal groceries for the week and did the pantry/fridge clean out. The bread is gone, the peanut butter jar is empty, the eggs have been fried and hard boiled, we are down to one grapefruit and a straggly piece of romaine lettuce, and the snack options are depleted. I feel very good when we do this which is about twice a year. We commit to what we've already purchased and open ourselves up to new food options in the future.
My hunger is insatiable lately. I've been eating the lunch I brought at 9:30am because I feel like I'm going to pass out if I don't eat something immediately. I then have to go for second lunch around 12:30 which lasts for a few hours. I need food in about three hour intervals during my waking hours or I feel light-headed and I start obsessing over finding something to eat. It's serious. Hunter must be pigging out in there because I'm starving. He is supposed to be gaining about a half pound a week at this point so I guess we're both hungry!
I'm thankful that tomorrow is Friday. Fridays are often crazy, but this week has been delightfully well-paced. I've been home by 4:30pm every day which provides some wonderful evening hours.
