sickness

There is nothing like being sick. I woke up Tuesday feeling just yucky and ended up leaving work around 12:15pm. I made it through Wednesday and Thursday and thankfully have today off of work. I'm a pretty active girl, but man, I have been wiped out this week. I get home and fall asleep on the couch from 5-8pm and then crawl into bed at 8pm and sleep some more. My whole body has been sore from sleeping so much! Today, Jared and I drive to Atlanta to hang out with Natalie and Adrian over New Year's Eve. I am so excited, but not sure how long I'm going to be able to stay awake since my bedtime this week has been around 5pm.

Jared and I bought a truckload of firewood from a neighbor this week as I have fallen in love with my wood burning fireplace. Especially since all I could do was lay on the couch and listen to the crackle and enjoy the warmth.

Everything is an adventure for Scout. The truckload of firewood is her new greatest joy.

I know that not everyone wants to look at a picture of my husband's hinny. However, I couldn't help taking a quick photo of Scout "helping" get the fire started.

Scout tries to be sneaky and grab a chunk of firewood when we're not looking.

However, she's not very good about cleaning up the evidence.
