What a lovely Sunday. Hunter, Scout, and I did some loops around the neighborhood in the deceivingly crisp and then still-humid weather. This was followed by an outing with William and Hayden to Starbucks and the gift shop at Cracker Barrel (our original intent was to browse the aisles at Barnes and Noble, but who knew that the employees are allowed to sleep in until 11am on Sunday?!?).  We had fun, however, and the boys had no trouble figuring out how to spend their $20 each. William even treated me to a hot tea at Starbucks because "You spent money on fuel to drive us around!" I don't know who he's been talking to about fuel, but yes, thank you for acknowledging that adults have to spend hard-earned money on very boring things like fuel (and toilet paper and now, diapers).

I then dropped Hunter off to Jared and relaxed at the spa during my massage. Hunter and I then spent a lovely afternoon going from activity to activity. Hunter seems quite content in the swing although he makes zero facial expressions and shows zero emotions during this particular activity. He might be solving the world's problems in his head or wishing that I would swing him a little bit higher for all I know.

We rounded out the day with some books and some time on the crinkly floor mat. Please notice that Hunter is surrounded by toys, yet sucking on the tag attached to the mat. That kid is so not getting any Christmas presents this year. Wrapped up empty boxes is the name of the game.
