Nike kicks

It has been quite a week. I went shopping with mom and got my shower dress on Monday (please see pretty dress below). Jared and I met and immediately loved our baby's pediatrician on Tuesday. I went to the doctor on Thursday and got a glimpse of Hunter on the ultrasound after 12 weeks (my last ultrasound was week 20 and I'm now 32 weeks). I also gave a presentation on eating disorders to the parents at my nephews' school on Thursday. That was a bit nerve-wracking as one of my brothers and my two sisters-in-laws were in the audience. I've counseled other people with eating disorders and I've talked about eating disorders, but always to strangers. There is definitely a vulnerability factor to presenting a personal topic to a room full of people I know and love.

Today was a blissful day filled with sunshine, shorts, and flip flops. Scout was just as thankful as I was to get out of the house after weeks of cold rainy, snowy weather.

Tomorrow is my first of two baby showers. I'm excited to say the least. Baby stuff is just adorable. It's getting real though. I'm now getting butt paste and diapers in addition to tiny, cute clothes.

I'm still feeling good overall. Kids, dogs, and pregnancy break the barriers with strangers and I find myself in conversation with all kinds of people. I love that.

I am out of breath frequently and find it harder to make it through the last two hours of the day. I still love to go for a walk, but find it difficult go very far without having to stop for another bathroom break.  I'm still hungry all the time and am craving eggs, hamburgers, and junk food in general.
I haven't had the pickles and ice cream cravings. I've gone from tortilla chips to bowls of pasta to broccoli to bananas to eggs and hamburgers. The one constant craving has been anything filled with carbs and fat. I'm still eating my vegetables and fruits, but I'd rather have Kraft mac and cheese than a bright salad for lunch and I'd rather have a pack of pop-tarts over a hot bowl of oatmeal for breakfast. It's weird and I'm sure it'll pass.
