Jared and I have been dog sitting Zoe this week while mom has been in California visiting her brother. Zoe is now about 8 pounds of scraggly gray and white fur. Mom puts her in bright pink collars with plastic flowers glue-gunned on for decor. Zoe is a happy little dog who loves to bring in dozens of acorns from the backyard and litter them around the house for potential chew toys later on in the day.
I am apparently very interesting when I'm using the computer because this is what I saw when I looked up from the screen.
I wouldn't say that Scout and Zoe are experiencing much hardship in life since Jared took this little photo of them mid-afternoon after they played together all morning.
In other news, I am well aware of the comings and goings of any squirrels on our little parcel of land. Zoe gives them hell through the window while Scout barks at her to be quiet.
It's been a good week. Josh came into town on Friday night for another round of hunting with my husband. My family celebrated William's 10th birthday. I'm now 31 weeks pregnant and Hunter is large and in charge.
