Neon

Ryan and I should open a children's breakfast joint specializing in brightly colored pancakes. I stumbled across neon food coloring in the store on Saturday afternoon and took our pancakes to new heights on Sunday morning. There is just nothing quite like a good stack of multi-colored pancakes coated with peanut butter/applesauce/whip cream/syrup in any combination.

Moving on...this is the front of the house. Jared, Mike, and I all have compound bows now and decided to shoot at the target from the roof. Jared brought up the idea half jokingly and I jumped on it being one who loves a crazy idea. We crawled out the window and had a great time shooting at an angle. We even hired Ryan to pull the arrows out of the target, tie them on the rope, and pull them up to us. He made $5.50 and we didn't have the continually go through the window and up/down the stairs to retrieve our arrows. I love a situation in which all parties are happy.

Lining up for the shot.

Jackie suggested that this be the photo on our Christmas card. It's not a bad idea since compound bows look badass and we are bringing some redneck up into the fancy part of town.

Another fun weekend is coming to a close. I love feeling rested and sun soaked.
