Zoe

World, meet Zoe.

Zoe, meet the world.

Mom got this sweet little puppy on Saturday morning and this three pound bundle has rocked the house. Scout has a new friend/enemy/playmate/pest. Scout herds Zoe around, Zoe chases Scout around, they eat each other's food and Zoe likes to turn the water bowl into a splash pad. They are both passing out in exhaustion each night and waking to a full day of toys and playtime.

Mom went out of town for two days and I'm puppy sitting. The puppy pees once an hour and poops at odd times and has already had three accidents in the house. I thought I'd learned a lot about house training a dog last time and apparently all I learned is that puppies have to use the bathroom constantly and training is a miserable process. I am so grateful that Scout is house trained! It is such a relief to know that I can leave Scout for hours without worry and that she knows inside=bad and outside=good. Simple, concrete, and yet incredibly difficult to teach a puppy. I think I'm understanding why many parents have children in a back-to-back fashion. Once over the big hurdles, it's hard to go back and start again!

However, Zoe is adorable and energetic and playful. She is three pounds of bold!
