We set out bright and early for Hendersonville to fish in the lake with the nephews. The thundering storms gave way to simple pouring rain so the fishermen fished on. William and Ryan could not get enough of fishing on the lake with Uncle Jared. I have married a man who is ever calm even in the face of questions coming in like machine gun fire, knotted lines, hooks caught on everything from fish to tree branches, a broken rod, a broken reel, and a family wanting a picture of every 2 inch fish pulled from the water. I have hit the jackpot, world. He is a good man, a fun uncle, a kind and loving husband, and he is going to be one heck of a father.
The afternoon rang out beautiful with bright blue skies. However, I think William and Ryan will remember fishing in the pouring rain over fishing on a beautiful day.
