Some belated photos. This family picture was taken over Christmas. I think we all look pretty darn good.

I snapped this picture out of the airplane window as we left Utah in January. The sun was coming up over the mountains and it was truly gorgeous. I miss vacation!

It has been a tough few weeks since returning from vacation. I've been flooded with new patients and I'm struggling to keep up and get everything done. Plus, Jared and I are still waiting on AT&T to do something. The company is really stringing him and his coworkers along. It feels like there is nothing left to talk about regarding the job situation and yet, how can we not talk about it?

So, valentine's day. Jared let me choose my present and I chose a massage that is scheduled for Sunday. However, the boy is smart and I came home to flowers. My favorite part is that the bouquet of flowers was sitting in a styrofoam cup in the sink. He doesn't actually know where the vases are or how to arrange flowers. And I like that. He's a good man.

I really wish that I still got to go to school valentine's parties. Remember how fun those were? Everyone got a valentine from everyone else because moms are smart like that. And there were sugar cookies and candy and lots of love.
