No. one. told. me. how. awesome. it. would. be.

Every day I come home from work to presents on the doorstep. Every day. Every single day. Huge boxes of presents from Williams-Sonoma, Bed, Bath, and Beyond, and Macy's. I mean really, at this rate, Jared and I are going to get married once a year. Maybe this is why people renew their vows. They're probably hoping people will throw a few more gifts their way.

I had two showers in Nashville last weekend. If you don't remember, I was supposed to have a shower in Birmingham the weekend before that. It was canceled due to the tornado warnings. This past weekend it flooded in Nashville. Two weekends, three showers, tornadoes, and floods. I am starting to think I'm cursed with the whole shower thing. However, we forged ahead with both showers.

The Saturday Shower:

The Sunday Shower:

It took Amy and me 2 hours to get to the shower. The drive is normally thirty minutes.

Welcome!

I couldn't beat the flood this day either.

The hostesses.

All the brave women who swam to my shower.

All in all, I felt totally loved and totally blessed.
