surprise!!

I have started taking care of flowers. So far, so good. Everything is alive and well. I water faithfully and pick off the dead blooms. This purple petunia is one of my favorites. Half of the limbs still grow crooked because they got squished on the way home from Lowe's. I noticed that a bird always flew out of the petunia when I went to water in the mornings. I didn't spend too much time wondering about it. Probably because I water at about 6:20 in the morning, so I don't spend much time wondering about anything at that hour. But, today, I watered at 7:30 after a solid 10 hour night of sleep and the little birdie's frantic flight caught my attention. I decided that something's up. So, I climbed up and peeked in. Look!!!

Little birdies to be. I will now be extra careful when I water.

This cute little guy is Conner. This is my new nephew. And that makes five. This is Jared's brother's baby and he smiles a lot and looks like a little old man when he furrows his brow. I love him.

I love this post. Your pictures are great! I love the flowers. And the bluebird eggs. Brings back good memories. And what a great pic of two great guys in your life.

Well, as much as I'd like to say something original and witty, I think Natalie pretty much summed up my sentiments exactly.

You are making such a happy little home that even the birds want to settle down and make their nests there, too! They'll be pleasant until those babies hatch and start chirping at all hours of the morning. ;)
