If you look really closely in this very good picture, you can see a white spot. That is one of the BMX bikers doing a flip. I loved the bikers. Such little itty bitty bikes.
And then, my favorite event...the monster truck freestyle event. And then, my favorite moment...this guy crashed after getting off balance while going over the car/van combo! It was awesome and right in front of me. I am now a fan of Reptoid and El Toro Loco.
All in all, it was a stellar event. I only wish my little nephews could have been there. They would have just stroked out from excitement.

So do you still hear the engines roaring in your ears?
Sounds amazing. I guess that's another tidbit of American/Southern culture that has passed me by so far. We'll see. Houston has brought me one giant step closer to rodeo culture than I ever was, so... who knows?
