hello?
Hold the phone, folks, I'm still cooking. On Sunday I made a delicious pasta dish complete with spicy sausage, white wine, mushrooms, fresh tomatoes, sauteed goodness, spices, oh my! And tonight, Jared and I made fish tacos. Normally, Jared pretends to be ignorant in the kitchen. Tonight I learned otherwise. I was cooking the tilapia in a skillet with some butter and salt. Boring, right? He whips by and tosses in some fresh lime juice, chili powder, and parsley for color. Umm, hello!? Jared, where have you been hiding and why did you not inform me about your skills in the kitchen? We plopped that delightful fish in warm taco shells and threw in some sauteed red pepper and onions, sour cream, cilantro, and peach salsa. Holy moly. Welcome to the land of Alabama tex-mex. Don't mind if I do.
