Sand box

Warren, Jackie, Mike, and Ryan dug out a sandbox for Hunter under his swing set. He likes the sandbox quite a lot, but what he really loved was helping them! Hunter loves to help and yes, sometimes he gets in the way, but sometimes he's actually really helpful.

We dug out a pit and then put the extra dirt in some holes in the backyard by the fence. The only problem now is that Hunter likes to scoop out the sand and put it outside of the sandbox.

But overall, the thirty bags of sand are mainly in the sandbox with a little bit spread in the yard and a small amount in the house. Hunter has purposely tasted a bit of sand, but hasn't returned for seconds. As always, Scout keeps her eye on him.

Hunter got a second Christmas present when Natalie sent him a box of sand toys which was immediately put to good use.

Warren and Jackie have always valued time over money and I appreciate that. I do know that the sand cost money, but their focus is on quality time spent with Hunter to produce an activity that he will enjoy for many hours. Merry Christmas to him and us!
