Skiddle

Oh my, oh my! Hunter is on the move. I know I've said it before and I'm sure I'll say it many, many times in the future. We used to spend 20-30 minutes in one room playing with various toys and exploring different pieces of furniture. Now, Hunter likes one room for about 3 minutes and is then off down the hall checking out other places. We've taken to calling him "bug" because he skiddles so fast from one place to the next. I think he's going to walk quite soon and then I'll really feel like he's on the move.

I love watching people form relationships with Hunter. We are all attracted and attached to each other in different ways. William and Ryan, the younger of the nephews, just adore playing with Hunter. The older boys like Hunter, but they are not drawn to him like William and Ryan. And because of their interest in him, Hunter is totally in love with them. Check out exhibit A and exhibit B for great examples of Hunter and William together.

In other news, Grandma is in town for another two weeks to help out. She just washed out the bathtub and cleaned sippy cups while I put Hunter to bed. Swoon!

Also, Amy came through town en route to her parents' home. Thank goodness Nashville is a great fly through town. I love getting the blessing of an overnight visit and a couple of good meals! Speaking of attachments, Hunter adored Amy from the moment she walked through the door. It was so interesting to watch because he's developed a little bit of stranger anxiety. But, Amy had zero troubles finding her way into his little heart. I think the cool hair, glasses, earrings, and bright scarf might have had something to do with his fascination with her!
