Tough guy

Last week there were days that brought some snow to cover the already existing ice and then the rained poured down. It was a pretty world at times and we ventured out into the frigid temperatures all of one time to take a few photos.

I have only selected the ones in which Hunter looks somewhat happy and conveniently left out the ones in which he was mad because he simply couldn't move in the snowsuit and boots. He truly did a turtle-on-his-back impression and was not having it. Scout, on the other hand, loved each and every second in the snowy, cold world and would let the blizzard-like blasts flow through her hair whenever she went out to pee.

My sister-in-law loves to buy my child adorable clothing. I try to dress him up especially for her. I love the clothing, but I have to admit that Jared and I usually keep Hunter in his one piece fleece sleepers. They are warm, soft, and comfortable. There is nothing worse than pulling Hunter's pants up all day while trying to keep his shirt over his belly and figure out where in the heck one if not both socks ended up. The kid is on the move and his clothing has to keep up.

Hunter is continuing to feed himself. He loves cottage cheese, but only gets it in the evening right before bath time as you can probably understand from the photo. The kid is somewhat of a disaster with the self-feeding.
