If this little peanut in the green where's waldo outfit doesn't make you smile, I don't know what will. My mom knitted this little number for my nephew Ryan over a decade ago. Love it and love him in it.
We had a big weekend with Jared's Uncle Bill and best friend Josh coming in to town to dove hunt. Hunter is never one to be left out so he sported his camo onsie along with socks that say "cutie" on the bottom. His mother obviously added the socks so that his little toes wouldn't get cold although real hunters are immune to the elements.
On Saturday night I went to my sister-in-law's fortieth birthday party complete with a live band and all the dancing I could squeeze into the evening. It seems that Brad and I might be siblings, no?
Now it's back to the work week. I called in yesterday as I have another round of mastitis and we were up much of the early morning hours with Hunter. He is no longer swaddled when he sleeps since he's taken to rolling over (and over and over) and he needs his arms free so he doesn't flip over and then get stuck in a non-breathable position. This, however, has come with another transitional period as he now rubs his head and face and flops around, thereby waking himself up. He's always just so darn happy and it's hard not to smile back at him at 4am (I usually don't though because I'm really sleepy and I don't want to encourage much excitement and friendly interaction before 6am). The following picture is post-oatmeal and pre-afternoon walk. It was a lovely afternoon. I'm now off to bed for an early start to my sleep.
