hoot hoot

Check this out...
Hundreds, thousands, millions of beads. I picked out a few prizes. Grandma and I went to the bead show this morning. We had a ball and Grandma proudly announced me as her granddaughter on several occasions. I love her. It's nice to have grandparents again.

Here's another little buddy I made recently. Kinda cute, huh?

Every Wednesday I head home exhausted after the trauma group and supervision. I pass Gardendale Baptist church on the way and am reminded that another week has passed. Sometimes I feel like I didn't even notice. I noticed this week. Yesterday, I felt the sun on my back and the chilly grass on my bare feet when I played outside with Scout. Last evening, I felt the wind on my arms as Jared and I stood outside and watched the lightning light up the sky in the distance. Today, I saw bright red tulips, brilliant white trees, and the neon pink and orange sunset. I noticed. I'm thankful for the moments to notice and wake me up to my own life.
