beep beep I'm a jeep

It started on Saturday morning at chic-fil-a. The jeeps filled the parking lot and the fun began.

We rode in Mt. Olive and had a blast.

Jared and I decided that eventually we each need our own jeep because we both like to drive.

Here we are in front of our very dirty Islander.
The line up at the end of the day. I like our new friends.
It has been a wonderful weekend. Jared and I wheeled all day on Saturday with new friends and then went out with the crew. I hiked with Brigid this morning at Oak Mountain and then went out to lunch with her. Scout and I spent time in the woods this afternoon and explored and got muddy. Jared and I then took a nap of somewhere around 2-3 hours. It's Sunday evening and I feel happy. I feel relaxed. I had fun this weekend. The floors are dirty, the towels are in a pile, the dishes are not done, but man, was it a good weekend. It was a wonderful respite from the feelings of inadequacy that have been swirling lately as I've had too much to do at work and just couldn't do everything up to my personal expectations. I hope that I can give my future children feelings of confidence and positive self-esteem. I would love to relieve them of the burden of inadequacy.
