Scout is my best four legged friend. I so appreciate her unconditional love. I don't know what I'd do any more without her to greet me at the door after a long, hard day of work. It didn't feel like something was missing before she entered the family. However, if she left now, it would leave a hole.

Jared and I were in Nashville this past weekend to visit the parentals. We went to the farm to shoot skeet. It was h-o-t. Scout found a little spot of shade near the jeep. How does she know to do that? I think she threw me the middle finger at one point for taking her out in 100 degree weather in a fur coat. And I was complaining about the heat in a pair of blue jeans!
And check out how great we look! Shut up, we are so cute.

Just to shock my old friends who knew me back in the day, I had a corn dog and fries at the game. Deep fried and delicious. Although, my stomach did hurt a bit afterwards and I don't think I was just being paranoid.
My X-Terra is safely home again. Man, is it pretty. All fixed up and they even cleaned the inside and outside of the car. My car hasn't looked this good since I bought it back in 2008 (even though I promised myself that I would keep it pristinely clean). Best car wash I've ever gotten for $150. Ha!

A corn dog?! Remember that time we went to Waffle House? I think it was the first time you'd ever been. You were amazed that they cooked it in front of you and then a little grossed out afterwards.
Ah yes, the waffle house. It still grosses me out actually, even post eating disorders.
impressive on all accounts. AND-- I like J's beard.
