baby carrots
I have to shop at Walmart. Please offer up a deep sigh for me. Walmart is the option out here in Gardendale, AL. Publix is coming late 2011. Seriously. Late 2011. They already put a sign up by the road to taunt me. However, two funny things happened at Walmart yesterday. 1. A complete stranger asked if I was "health nut" based on the contents of my shopping cart. I didn't actually consider the ingredients for cheese covered enchiladas and creamy cajun pasta all that healthy. However, I guess because I didn't have pork skins, candy, and grape drink, I'm doing all right. 2. There are those candies that every kid dreads getting at Halloween, right? The yucky ones that kids don't care to hoard and can't trade. Then to make matters worse, people started handing out apples on occasion. Like any kid wants on apple on Halloween. Puulease. However, now in the produce section of Walmart really terrible Halloween door answerers can purchase individual bags of baby carrots decorated with pumpkins. I may be a health nut, but do not ever put a bag of baby carrots in my Halloween pumpkin. Ever. I want candy. The good kind. Reeces, snickers, candy corn. You get the point.
