one little question

I just dropped off some dry cleaning. That's a new thing with me. 1. I actually have clothes that I want to keep clean and good looking for many years to come. 2. I have a job for which I actually want to show up looking professional and believable. This is the third round of dry cleaning for me. I will not even publicly admit how long it took me to have those black slacks cleaned. We're not talking days or even weeks here, people. Anyway, so I just dropped off some clothing and then noticed the sign in the window: "Not responsible for any broken zippers, buttons, ornaments, or pins." So, what exactly are they responsible for? Because my pants don't do me much good without a working zipper. Clean or dirty.
