go-go buggie

Celebrate good times, come on! Hunter turned one last Thursday!
I celebrate his life and the fact that Jared and I kept him alive for an entire year! Parenting feels more difficult than I had imagined simply in terms of keeping a child safe from the hazards of every day life.
I simply swoon over this little boys eyes. He looks just like Jared.

We spent Easter weekend at Grandma and Pop's house and Hunter hit the tupperware jackpot with one of the cabinets that was simply busting at the seams.

Before Hunter feel apart on Saturday night at bedtime from exhaustion and overstimulation, he spent a full day surrounded by family and friends who all wanted to play with him.
He also took a trip to bass pro shop where he knocked down a small display and then quickly moved on. He also took his first ride in the go-go buggie at Publix. He loved it.

I loved that he was having a great time, but let me tell you, those buggies are enormous. The turning radius was terrible and there was only room for us on an aisle. But again, he was big stuff wearing his 'hello ladies' shirt and I just let it be.

More pictures to come of Hunter's sweet birthday party.
