Jared and I zipped to North Carolina for a long weekend to visit Natalie and Adrian. The following photo is quite dark, but was taken inside a neat bar into which one can bring food, games, and dogs.
We dined at the two food trucks outside. I'd never eaten at a food truck, but always wanted to. I wasn't blown away by the food, but certainly loved the experience. There's something about "the grilled cheeserie" and "biscuit love" around Nashville, so come visit an let's chase both!
I was thankful for a weekend to walk each day in the sunshine with a good friend and be away from my pager. I guess I wasn't ready to get it back this week because I most definitely dropped it in the toilet on Monday afternoon. Apparently, that's the common culprit for pagers and the hospital pager fairy got it fixed up quickly this morning. I had five pages waiting when I went to pick up the pager. I guess I'll have to drop it down a drainage ditch or something next time for more umphf to the injury.
Scout had a weekend away at my Mom's where she and Zoe slept in the bed with Mom. Thank goodness it's a king size bed because those puppies can really take up the bed space.
