Today was a very special day. The fun shoe Friday group reunited for lunch and conversation. Whenever I think of the old days in cottage one, I feel happy and sad. Happy that I got to experience a team like that, happy that I got to play hundreds of games of sorry with friends, happy that we ran around in the woods playing in the creek and de-stressing, happy that we played skeeball at Froggies during work hours, happy that we became such good friends. Sad that those times were "lightning in a bottle" as Matt once coined it. Sad that an experience like that it extremely rare and may never come again.
