ramblings

So, I don't like pesto. I wish I did, but I don't. I also wish I'd taken pictures of the tiny watermelons in my garden. But, I didn't. They are about the size of a ping-pong ball. Absolutely adorable. Scout thought so too. She pulled one of the little guys off the vine and ate it. Totally crunchy. She threw up approximately one hour later. Scout is always finding something to eat. I walk in the room and she's munching on something she found on the floor. Dogs are funny animals.

I've read some fabulous books lately and wanted to share.
The Paris Wife
In the Garden of Beasts
Crooked Letter, Crooked Letter
The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks
The Poisoner's Handbook

I've borrowed four of the five books from a coworker. She is a quick reader and will stick a new read in my box at work. I'll read it and then stick it back in her box. It's wonderful.

I have to work tomorrow. Yucky. I don't want to in the least. I am constantly tired this week and emotionally drained. However, I am getting my last massage tomorrow at 4:30. I am so excited.

So, this is a big month for me. I have completed three years at Bradford. Jared and I celebrate one year of marriage on Sunday and my 29th birthday is on Thursday. I repeat, 29th birthday. Jared is currently 24. We are four and half years different. Let's just talk about how I'm gonna feel when I'm 30 and he's 25. Shut up.
