a review

So many things to share tonight. Jared and I have made more friends. Tonight we met Mavis and Joe, a lovely older couple. We also met their yappy little dog, Heidi, and toured Joe's train room. Next, we ran into Micah. He's on Spring break this week and two of his buddies are off visiting relatives. Needless to say, we didn't get much of a walk in today. By the time we talked with all of our friends and every cute kid in the neighborhood gave Scout a pet on the head, it was getting cold and my fingers were having a fit. We may have to take Scout on a social walk and then come back home and put all three of us on the treadmill in order to get some exercise.

Quote of the day:
Stated by middle age patient while reviewing his first step inventory on powerlessness and unmanageability.
"My social life was like that of Charlie Sheen and the goddesses."
Uh huh.

Okay, so I'm thankful that my eye doesn't look bad today. However, I was also a bit bummed. No one noticed my eye. Not one person. I had to tell people about the events of last night, bring it up out of the blue. I wanted to be asked. :)

The sun is setting and it's after seven pm. Praise the Lord for longer days. Now, for some summer weather.
