Well, back outside. I just had breakfast while Scout played around my feet. It's raining out, but we're safe and dry under the patio covering. Scout is having trouble figuring out where to use the bathroom as her toilet (the backyard) is soaking wet. I don't care for a wet toilet seat either.
Scout has been making lots of friends lately. Last night we hung out with Karen, Jared's mother, and our newest nephew, Connor. Conner and Scout loved each other and wanted to play together so badly. However, neither party was very good about gentle play. It was either Conner banging his arm across Scout's back or Scout scratching Conner with a little toenail action. Finally, the following arrangement was reached and they were both very happy.

Scout was happy licking Conner's little fingers and Conner could watch Scout run around and play. Eventually, Scout ended up laying on the blue thing beneath Conner's feet and they were in best friend heaven. Don't tell Conner, but Scout has lots of best friends.
In other news, I watched parts of the Alabama and Auburn games last night. Can we just talk about how big those kids are out there on the field? 300 pounds! As an eighteen or nineteen year-old. What are they feeding these guys? No one at Birmingham Southern was any where near that big. Of course, we were probably all wasting away from the lack of nutrition due to hours spend as nerds in the library.
