New experiences this week:
1. I went to the tanning bed. I repeat, I went to the tanning bed. For the first time in my life, I entered the light coffin of death at age 27. Justification: I am in a wedding next weekend and have a beautiful strapless bridesmaid's dress to wear and I have tan lines from the beach last weekend. Good enough justification? You decide.
2. I cried at a television show. On Thursday evening at 8pm, Jim and Pam got married during an hour long episode of The Office. It was awesome. I have waited five years for these two lovebirds to get hitched and I just couldn't help myself. I had little tears of joy streaming down my cheeks when Jared suddenly noticed and frantically asked if I was okay. Oh yes, more than okay. They finally got married. Ahhh.
3. I went to the Kickin' Chicken festival in Birmingham, AL. I am so proud of my city for hosting this awesome event. Even though it was raining, Melissa, Jared, and I forged our way from booth to booth sampling wings from 10 different restaurants. Summary: I was in heaven. I love wings with a passion. My super secret vote went to Mellow Mushroom who had three different kinds of juicy, savory wings with Esperanza dipping sauce. Tasty!

1. ehhh...i'm not so sure that's justification...then again, I've never seen a tan on this skin a day in my life so battling tan lines has never been an issues.

3. I LOVE WINGS! I have a file of recipes. I think the next we visit we should have our own cook-off. Jared can judge ;)
I'm not for sure if the whole wedding thing justifies the tanning bed. You know I would have you straps and all! But whatever makes you happy and allows your mind to be at peace. Besides, one session will not kill you.
