Today consisted of skeet shooting, spilt milk at the Mexican restaurant, Daredevil ducks videos, sugar cookies with an excessive amount of sprinkles, teeball in the backyard, and the new bubble game. Ryan, William, and I made up a new game with bubbles where one person blows the bubble mixture and the other two people race around popping the bubbles. It is excellent exercise, good for deep breathing practice, and a positive source of laughter. I suggest that Bradford implements the bubble game each afternoon around 3 o'clock when the patients are grumpy.
My nephew, Hayden, says delightful things. Today he was listing all the reasons why he loves Christmas and it included, "santa, Christmas lights, sugar cookies, deep joy, and laughter." My nephew is aware of deep joy and laughter. Interesting. Ryan mentioned "juve hall" the other day and doesn't know what juvenile hall is. I wonder where he picked that up. My nephews may look like they are totally absorbed in the new lego set, but beware, they are tape recorders of everything you say.
