Halloween is weird

Drum roll please....
For Halloween Hunter was....asleep! Bahaha.
I know I'm hilarious. But seriously, we totally skipped Halloween and just put Hunter to bed at his normal 7pm while Jared then studied and I worked a shift in the emergency department. It was perfect.
Sometimes I'm probably a bit lackluster when it comes to holidays, but I figure we'll just move at Hunter's pace. He adored the pumpkins we got for fall decorations and he has moved those little things all over the house. I think the Christmas tree is going to be an absolute delight in terms of decorating and re-decorating and on and on. I typically don't decorate for Christmas until after Thanksgiving, but I'm tempted to start early this year just because Hunter will get such a kick out of it.

Back to Halloween though, Hunter does not like to keep his clothes on right now and I say at least five times daily "Pull your pants back up" or "Do not touch your diaper," so I figured that asking him to wear a costume would be a bit much. Also, I don't give him much sugar since he has boundless energy without it and I don't want to give him the impression that he can just waltz up to a stranger's home, ring a doorbell, and tada! free candy will be handed to him. It's really a very strange holiday come to think of it!
