I am just not part of the selfie generation! I often forget to take pictures and, while I don't want to be flashing my phone around all the time, I am often sad when I later realize that I missed some important opportunities to capture a memory. I only have one picture to show from a very fun weekend. I zipped to Birmingham and had a lovely dinner and sleep over at Melissa's house. I then headed over to a baby shower for my fabulously cute pregnant friend, Amy, and on the way home, I grabbed lunch with Teri.
As mentioned, here is my one photo aaaannnd I wasn't even wearing my pretty shower dress as I had already changed clothes for the ride home.
It was a much needed weekend away complete with good time with friends and delicious food (hello baby bites!). It is a luxury to eat dinner at a new-to-me restaurant and sit outside and eat until the rain comes trickling down only to leave and eat homemade ice cream and chat while not listening for a baby's potential cry.
