I didn't realize how particular an 18 month old can be about things. Hunter loves shoes, but hates hats. I barely got him to wear a hat at the beach to keep his lily white skin from burning. But, shoes, now Hunter can get behind wearing shoes and boots and sandals and crocs and anything else you'd like to put on his feet.
He wanted these crocs on first thing in the morning with his pajamas.
Hunter continues to love reading either with me or alone. It brings joy to my heart as I think books open doors to knowledge and imagination.
My mom taught Hunter to drink a smoothie with a straw like a big boy and he is all about it. He's feeling somewhat over the high chair as well.
Happy birthday to my father who would have been 73 today and happy half birthday to Hunter who is officially 1.5 years old today.
