Life has officially been turned upset down. My stomach is feeling every sensation of it.
We are moving to Nashville!
I said I would never move back to Nashville. Never say never. Jared has been transferred within AT&T and will start his new position at the Batman building on December 10. I submitted my notice of resignation on Friday and my last day at Bradford will be on December 7. I will then be jobless! Ahhh! I have submitted the paperwork for my Tennessee license and have to get a criminal background check started tomorrow at the police station. The Tennessee board of social work wants everything but blood samples. I don't really understand why they can't just look at my Alabama license and know that I did everything I needed to in order to obtain that license. Oh well, they want me to retrace my steps for them and prove that I took every class and passed every test.
We'll be moving in with my mother for a bit while we get our house ready to sell and on the market. Then, we will figure it out from there. We would like to buy the farmland in Hendersonville from my mother and build a house there. The complications are many with that especially since the land is part of Dad's estate which is far from being closed.
So, the packing has started. Thankfully, Warren and Jackie just moved and donated their boxes to us. It's amazing to me how much stuff I actually have. Two whole boxes of board games. One box of fishing supplies. I'm just working on extra bedroom closets at this point!
I cannot believe I will be leaving Birmingham. I've lived in Birmingham for over a third of my life. Wow. I will miss it, but I do feel that I've outgrown it at times.
