Peanut butter

Funny how quickly things can change. Look at this sweet picture of Scout laying on my leg last Friday afternoon for a little cuddling time. She is rarely a cuddler and this was special.

However, right after that lovely moment, she proceeded to fall asleep and then pee while sleeping. Odd for a dog to pee where she is laying, so I was concerned. Jared and I took Scout to the vet armed with this concern and the fact that Scout had just been weird lately. She'd been pacing the bedroom at night and was very stand offish. Turns out she has a uti. Now, the pupster is on antibiotics which I have to crush and swirl into peanut butter in order to convince her to take the medication. She takes the pain pill like a champ, the little druggie. Plus, there's a trail of white powder on the counter from all of the pill crushing and it's starting to feel like a drug den around here.

On Saturday we went to a jeep meet n' greet and had a little fun in the parking lot. The meet n' greet is always at hooters a restaurant I find amusing. Those hose really cover up a lot, don't they? And the wings, not that great. Really. I actually have a decent taste for wings in spite of the fact that I didn't really eat meat for two-thirds of my life.

Warren, Jackie, Mike, and Ryan are driving across the country to Tennessee to make a new home for themselves. They're coming for the weekend in Alabama and we're going to show them a redneck time at Alabama Adventure. I adore that place. So much many tiny swimsuits and wife beaters on so many unfit people in one cozy lazy river. Welcome back to the South, Warren and Jackie.

I'm going to go back to therapy. It might sound crazy, but I am totally excited. I've got the name of the lady and I plan to start sometime at the end of July or beginning of August. I have always gotten so much out of therapy and I am obviously, a therapist, so I love therapy and can hardly wait for the insight to begin.

Tomorrow is a new trauma group and I only have three people. Wonderful. Three people is perfect after the terrible eight of last round.
