Congratulations to me! Yesterday was my pineapple birthday! May 28 is the official day of rejoicing. It represents five years of no purging (bulimic) activity in my life! Hip hip hooray!
The pineapple celebration started on my one year anniversary. I was in Honduras with Natalie and we celebrated by eating the most delicious pineapple. Wahla! A tradition formed. I love that about life. There is always room for a new tradition, a new celebration, a new routine.
Natalie sent me these earrings recently. How cool is that? I have the most thoughtful friends.

So, I mowed the grass yesterday. I had never mowed the grass at this house as that is Jared's chore. However, Jared is working 13 days on, 1 off, 12 hour days, so I figured I needed to get it down. Scout was running around the backyard in the newly cut grass and came in the house with green paws. The following was my conversation with Jared over the phone:
A: Guess what?!
J: What?
A: I cut the grass!
J: Cool, thank you.
A: Scout has green paws.
J: Scout has three paws!?!?!
A: No, green paws. From the grass.
J: Oh, I thought you cut her paw off.
A: No, she still has four paws, but they're green.
