Grandma is in town for about 10 days to help out with babysitting and it's wonderful to have her here. It's amazing how one child can make life so full and complicated. A third adult really helps out! Hunter adores her games of peek-a-boo and her snuggles during nap time. He was feeling pretty awesome about himself in his new "hello ladies" outfit and duck hat. Ladies were swooning all over the house over that ensemble.
Grandma also introduced us and Hunter to baby cookies, little quickly dissolving cookies that he can gnaw on. My third percentile weight-wise child could use a couple of cookies. Regardless, the little vanilla wafer-like cookies have but 20 calories a piece and he likes to share about half with Scout.
The guy could probably use a bite of cookie after that pea puree he ate tonight. Woof, that was the most foul smelling baby food, although I suppose that peas aren't overwhelming positive in the aromatics department to begin with.
And yes, I feed my child in just his diaper. He likes to rip bibs off and we save on so much laundry this way. A little wet wipe to the hands, face, and chest and he's ready to put that outfit back on and explore the house.
