There was not a drop of rain in the sky nor a tornado looming. It was a sunny day with high heat and lots of humidity. Thank you, Alabama.
Mom and Dad came down for the weekend. Mom went to the shower with me while Jared and Dad went to the Bass Pro shop and ate lunch at Logan's. My dad loves throwing the peanut shells on the ground.
The gifts were pretty awesome. Jared and I got a cat's meow sleeping bag for him and a half dome tent! We had previously received a camping stove, nalgene bottles, and cookware. Camping here we come!!
This is Jared's cute little niece, Carly. She is shy, but will talk about you non-stop once you're out of sight.
It's funny how kids attract other kids. This is Carly and my newest nephew (Jared's brother's baby), Connor, getting acquainted. They were bff's by the end of the shower.
This is in the pre-bff stage when Connor was a bit unsure about his trust in Carly.
